CONSUMER HELP - HOW TO BUILD A SCREEN FRAME
WHAT YOU WILL NEED

4 Lengths of Aluminum Fame
4 Corner Connectors
2 Pull Taps (optional)
2 Corner Springs

To complete your frame by installing the screening material you will also need the items listed under How-To install screening.

HOW TO ASSEMBLE THE SCREEN FRAME

Measure to cut frames to size. Measure existing screen frame or the location where the screen frame will be placed. Subtract 1 1/2” from the height and width to allow for corner connectors. If using corner tension springs, subtract an additional 1/8” from the height and the width.

Cut and Assemble Frames. Mark the frame for cutting. Square cut frame pieces carefully with a hacksaw. Insert the corner connectors into the longer frame pieces. If tension springs are used, insert them with the corner connectors as pictured in the diagram. Attach the shorter frame pieces to complete the frame.

Install screening into the frame. See our how-to install screening page.
